The Founders of this initiative have had an interest in popular music throughout our lives. We would enjoy hearing more songs with melodies than have reached the charts in recent years.

There are performers who are exceptions. Examples are Ed Sheeran, Adele, Florence and The Machine and others. However, it is widely expressed that the creativity of talented composers is thwarted by many musical publishing companies who only want to release what they consider will sell in large volume and frequently alter an original composition’s style to suit their view of how best to achieve this objective.
