DATA POLICY

With the new data laws which commenced on May 25th 2018 (GDPR), organisations like Play Your Tunes have to comply. Play Your Tunes will be known as Play Your Tunes for short, but everyone subscribing will be members of The Play Your Tunes Club.
New members providing their First Name, Last Name and Email Address will be made aware of The Play Your Tunes Club’s data policy. In order to comply with GDPR, The Play Your Tunes Club is obliged to tell you that the data held by The Play Your Tunes Club for each member is First Name, Last Name, Email Address and that the Data Processor and Controller is Graham Parkhurst. The Play Your Tunes Club may subsequently record your attendance at any events which may be organised and interests you may have. The Play Your Tunes Club also knows when you first became a member and signed up to receive Play Your Tunes information emails and note that if a request to unsubscribe is been made by anyone, it will be implemented.
The Play Your Tunes Club’s data retention policy under GDPR is to hold your data for ten years from the date you became a member unless you unsubscribe or at a future date reapply to become a member of The Play Your Tunes Club at which point the ten years starts again. If, under GDPR, you want all data that The Play Your Tunes Club holds about you to be deleted, please use the Contact Us form on playyourtunes.com/contact-us to advise The Play Your Tunes Club. If you are happy to just unsubscribe, then an unsubscribe link is available at the bottom of every email sent to you. This is then automatically done by the email sending software that The Play Your Tunes Club chooses to use, such that you will not receive further emails from The Play Your Tunes Club unless you reapply.
